(*pssst....if you're already friends/family, you don't need to read this. unless of course you want to. but it's pretty much stuff you already know.)

the lion city. that's where we met in 2011.
she's american. born in nashville, raised in the big apple. roots in the south, always a yankee. he's korean. raised in the south, roots in kimchi. she followed her heart, chased her dreams and hopped over the pond to cambodia. to do development work with some rockstar people. life turned the pages and she found herself, surprisingly, in singapore. writing, designing, and creativity-juicing. he followed his brain, chased an education and hopped a little south(er) to the lion city. they collided into each other quite unexpectedly. he was captivated by her american dreaming ways. she couldn't resist his kimchi charm.
and that's how we accidentally fell in love.
the land of kimchi called, and so we hopped right over. he put a ring on it. we did a little dance. and two months, two continents, and two weddings later...we were hitched! call us crazy (our friends do!). we never seem to do anything the conventional way...and we're a-okay with that!
because 1 + 1 = 3 (i have always rocked math), in march, a little bean started growing. which we didn't know about until april. and right around that time we got uno (our adorable toodle). and so it should seem that, in fact, 1 + 1 = 4.
and that's our family. for now.
the world is our oyster (or so they say). we love to travel. we love a quiet night at home. our an afternoon at the park. simplicity. laughter. memories forever in the making. the hardest part about living an adventurous life all over the globe? that pang you get when you're more far than near to the ones you love. so here are our koreamerican diaries.
for the ones we love. both near and far.
over and out.
